Her music moves between the achingly intimate and the sonically cinematic, grounded in lyrics that cut straight through the noise. A classically trained violinist and a self-taught guitarist, Joanie writes music like she breathes: instinctively, intensely, and entirely on her own terms.

A queer and autistic artist herself, Joanie is passionate about music, social justice, and being alone. She loves the solitude of nature, the company of animals, and the comfort of books. She’s here to tell the truth—about herself, about the world, and about what it feels like to be a person trying to stay grounded when every instinct is to fly.
